"Lost Harrison Works Fetch Less Than Valued"
Five paintings of athletes painted by Ted Harrison for the Commonwealth Games in 1994, and apparently lost for several years, were on the block at Vancouver's Heffel Gallery online auction this week. The paintings -- of divers, cyclists, swimmers, gymnasts and runners -- were valued at $3,000 to $5,000 each, but only the first two sold for $2,500. (read more)
